This year, Marduk Technologies received the Silver Level "Supporter of National Defenders 2025" recognition from the Kaitseministeerium / Ministry of Defence of Estonia.
The Silver Level recognition is given to employers who meaningfully support Estonia’s national defenders in everyday practice. For us at Marduk, that support has taken a few different forms:
✔️ Continuing full salary for team members while they attend military training exercises
✔️ Offering paid extra leave and additional benefits to make service more manageable
✔️ Acting on the belief that national defence is a shared responsibility
A huge thank you to our entire team – this is a shared achievement. This recognition means a lot!
As part of the 2025 recognition, the Ministry of Defence of Estonia acknowledged 517 Estonian employers for their support of reservists - including salary continuity and additional benefits during service. Out of over 600 nominations, 100 companies received the Silver Level, highlighting those who go beyond the basics to actively support national defence!
As Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence Kaimo Kuusk noted, “Our security depends on our people and our reservists. That’s why it is extremely important that our reservists feel supported in return — that they can attend training exercises with peace of mind, without having to worry that their financial situation might suffer while they serve. I am truly glad that this year, more than five hundred employers were recognized for standing behind national defence.”
